Presentation of 11 Public Finance Management evaluations for Peruvian regions and provinces.

The results of Public Expenditure and Accountability evaluations for 11 Peruvian regions and provinces were presented at the event "Gestión de las Finanzas Públicas. Evidencia internacional, nacional y subnacional" (Public Finance Management. Evidence at the international, national and sub-national levels), organised by the Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO) and the Basel Institute of Governance.

These Public Expenditure and Accountability (PEFA) evaluation reports are the results of a joint project carried out by evaluators, authorities and regional government officials to systematically measure the quality of public finance management in different regions of Peru.

The quality control process followed for the preparation of this report complies with all the requirements of the Secretariat for the Public Expenditure and Accountability Program (PEFA) in Peru.
