TRACE named the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN), a global business network of companies and associations involved in the maritime industry, the winner of its second annual Innovation in Anti-Bribery Compliance Award. The MACN was recognized for its efforts to create an industry-wide compliance culture through collective action.

In the selection of the winner TRACE relied on a team of anti-bribery experts and more than a decade of experience benchmarking the best practices of multinational companies, with submissions judged on four criteria: creativity; context and sustainability; alignment with business goals; and applicability to the compliance community at large.
