Maja de Vibe is SVP Sustainability, Governance and Compliance (and Chief Compliance Officer) at Statkraft – the largest renewable energy generator in Europe.

Previously she was Director for a research programme on governance and anti-corruption, providing analysis for the likes of the World Bank and the OECD.

Prior to that, she spent nearly 10 years in Africa where she held management roles in the UK Department for International Development.

Maja has experience galvanizing multi-stakeholder action on governance and anti-corruption, such as negotiating new forms of joint donor action in response to corruption cases and coordinating support for the establishment of the first Anti-corruption Court in Uganda.

Maja is an Associate Fellow at the Saïd Business School of Oxford University where she gives guest lectures on ESG topics and is a board member of Transparency International Norway.
