Gemma Aiolfi at IFCTF conference 2018
Gemma Aiolfi, Head of Compliance, Corporate Governance and Collective Action at the Basel Institute of Governance, will be speaking at the 10th International Conference of Financial Crime and Terrorism Financing (IFCTF) 2018. Organised by the Asian Institute of Finance, the conference will take place on 30–31 October 2018 in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. The theme this year is: The rising voice of compliance – towards greater governance and transparency.
Ms. Aiolfi will participate as a panellist in the first plenary session on Transforming governance in government-related entities: What it means to compliance in the financial services sector.
The one-hour session will take place on Tuesday, 30 October at 10.45am. Other panellists include H.E. Vicki Treadell CMG, MVO, British High Commissioner to Malaysia and Dato' Lim Chee Wee, Partner, Dispute Resolution Division, Skrine. The session moderator, P. Gunasegaram is the former editor at The Star, The Edge and Malaysian Business.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, 30 October, Gemma Aiolfi will also take part in a dialogue on Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action at a separate event organised by the Malaysian Institute of Management.
