Reyhan Fachry joined the Basel Institute on Governance in May 2022 as Programme Officer for the USAID Indonesia Integrity Initiative (USAID Integritas) project.

As part of the Basel Institute’s Green Corruption team, Reyhan is responsible for managing a local team of Basel Institute technical experts and support staff contributing to the five-year, USD 9.9 million USAID Integritas initiative. This includes coordinating with other consortium members based in Jakarta and with stakeholders across government, civil society, the private sector, state-owned enterprises and academia.

Reyhan Fachry is an international development and cooperation practitioner with broad experience in programme management and communications, as well as monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL).

Prior to joining the Basel Institute, Rey worked as the Programme Officer for BIDUK Indonesia, an Australian DFAT-sponsored programme that aims to provide access to financing for women-led small and growing businesses in Indonesia. Rey has also previously worked with major international donors including USAID and the European Union (EU).

He holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, Indonesia.
