The 7th Global Conference on Criminal Finances and Cryptocurrencies (#7CrC) took place on 26–27 October 2023 at the Europol headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands.

It was held in a hybrid format, with 140 spaces available for in-person attendance on each day.

The annual conference is an initiative of Europol and the Basel Institute on Governance through the joint Working Group on Criminal Finances and Cryptocurrencies formally established in 2016.

The aim is to increase the capabilities of all relevant actors to successfully investigate and prosecute crypto-related crimes, as well as manage related risks to citizens, companies and national/global financial systems.

The conference helps to create a network of practitioners and experts who can collectively establish best practices and provide assistance and recommendations in this fast-evolving field.

• Day 1 (26 October) is open to all.
• Day 2 (27 October) is strictly limited to law enforcement and related public authorities.
