The past year brought profound changes to the global anti-corruption landscape. It also showed the determination of those working to protect public resources, strengthen institutions and uphold integrity. Throughout 2025, our teams worked closely with partners in government, business and civil society to develop lasting, adaptive solutions that serve the public interest, not the ambitions of the corrupt.
The Annual Report 2025 highlights some of what we achieved together:
- helping partner countries to recover a record USD 65 million;
- secure landmark results against environmental crime;
- protecting vital public investments, and
- advancing locally led, multi-stakeholder approaches to corruption prevention and business integrity.
The report also captures the reach of our learning programmes, including new Basel STUDY programmes with students from 11 countries and 16,000 online learning certificates issued to individuals around the word.
These results are possible only because of the trust, expertise and commitment of partners and supporters.
Looking ahead, we are encouraged by the resilience of the global anti-corruption community and ready to bring our expertise to emerging challenges, from critical minerals and rising defence spending to cryptoassets and artificial intelligence.
We are proud of what our teams and partners achieved and warmly thank our donors for their continued support for this valuable work. Read the report in full, or simply flick through it, to explore the people, places and results behind the numbers.
