ICAR is currently developing a regional training programme on “Financial Investigations and Recovering Stolen Assets” for a group of practitioners from relevant institutions from selected countries of the MENA region (Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, South Sudan and Yemen).

The programme will be conducted jointly with the International Institute of Higher Studies in Criminal Sciences (ISISC) in Sicily, Italy, during 18-23 November 2013. For the first time, an ICAR training programme will be delivered with assistance from local trainers (from Egypt) who are currently being trained by ICAR in it’s one-year train-the-trainer programme for Egypt funded by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.
