Analysing suspicious financial activities is a key function of Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs). To enhance the capacity of FIUs worldwide, ICAR in cooperation with the Egmont Group of FIUs has developed a unique e-learning course on “Operational Analysis”. The course is designed for FIU analysts, financial analysts in law enforcement agencies and staff members working in financial intelligence departments of private banks. It is currently available in English and Spanish and offered for free to all public institutions on the Basel Institute’s e-learning CAMPUS.
