Basel Institute on Governance awarded StAR training program

As a result of a highly competitive tender procedure, the Basel Institute on Governance/ICAR has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery Agreement from the World Bank Group for the Stolen Asset Recovery (StAR) training program.

The objective of this assignment is to deliver, over a period of at least 16 months, training and technical assistance to create or strengthen the capacity of developing country governments to recover stolen assets. Additional objectives may also include training or advisory services aimed at developing policies on asset recovery, institutional and legislative reform related to asset recovery, as well as the development of asset recovery-related information and management systems.
