This is a meeting of the Minerals Corruption Working Group of the Countering Environmental Corruption Practitioners Forum.

The session will focus on the Resource Matters' new report, “Nine Red Flags in the Emerging Lithium Sector in the DRC”, and will explore governance gaps, transparency challenges and corruption risks across the emerging lithium value chain.

In addition, speakers from the Natural Resource Governance Institute Chile and Oxpeckers Investigative Environmental Journalism will add comparative insights from Chile and Southern Africa.

The meeting is open to current members of the Countering Environmental Corruption Practitioners Forum and its Minerals Corruption Working Group, as well as those potentially interested in joining. Simultaneous interpretation in English, French and Spanish will be provided.
