Jointly organised by the World Bank’s Office of Suspension and Debarment (OSD) and the World Bank Group Sanctions Board Secretariat, together with supporting partners including the Basel Institute on Governance, this symposium will bring together scholars and practitioners from across sectors to explore how resources lost through corruption can be redirected towards sustainable development outcomes. Discussions will focus on asset return, financial remedies, and innovative approaches to strengthening development financing and accountability.
