Geneviève Federspiel
Member of the Advisory Network
Ambassador Geneviève Federspiel has more than 35 years of experience in international cooperation and development diplomacy. She has served in various roles at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Nepal, Pakistan, Mali, Honduras, Haiti and Moldova, among other posts, as Ambassador, Country Director, Head and Deputy Head of Cooperation.
In addition to personnel, security and portfolio management, she has worked extensively on issues such as rule of law, inclusive governance, anti-corruption, asset recovery and the promotion of integrity in the public and private sectors. She has also been actively involved in conflict transformation and peace-building efforts to foster sustainable development.
Geneviève Federspiel is a Member of the Advisory Network to the Basel Institute on Governance in her personal capacity.
