Chido Myambo

Chido Myambo joined the Basel Institute on Governance in September 2026 as Specialist, Practitioners Forum Coordination. She is part of the Green Corruption team and co-coordinates the Countering Environmental Corruption Practitioners Forum.

Chido is a strategic communications and community engagement specialist with more than eight years’ experience driving communications, stakeholder engagement and facilitating knowledge-sharing among professional networks in international development and non-profit sectors.

Most recently, she served as a Communications Specialist for the World Bank’s FinEquity Community of Practice, where she helped grow a global network of researchers, practitioners, policymakers and donors supporting efforts to advance women’s financial inclusion.

Chido holds a Master’s degree in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School. She is passionate about economic inclusion, governance and sustainable development.
