Translate the principles of the Global Compact into actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Mexico
Goals
With their agreement, the Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (COPARMEX) and Global Compact Network Mexico aimed to mobilize efforts to achieve the objectives of the 2030 Agenda, in particular Goal 16 on Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
COPARMEX's main objectives under the agreement were to strengthen the capacity of its member companies to develop policies, plans, programmes and projects for the implementation and monitoring of the SDGs.
Activities
As part of its commitment under the agreement, COPARMEX launched #MXsincorrupción, a tool to measure the percentage of member companies that have experienced corruption in public procedures in the last year.
#MXsincorrupción is one of 10 indicators that form #DataCoparmex, measuring Mexico's performance in economic, labor, rule of law and government performance issues.
