Collective Action initiative for fighting corruption in Gauteng Province

The project aims to address corruption in the Gauteng Province of South Africa in three ways:

  • Provide ongoing thought leadership to the Gauteng Anti-Corruption Forum. Its purpose is to explore synergies to consolidate anti-corruption efforts across the various sectors, focusing on specific risk areas.
  • Collaborate with nine municipalities in the Gauteng province to strengthen their ethics and anti-corruption management capacity. This includes setting up necessary governance structures and assisting the municipalities.
  • Create information and training resources to address ethical and anti-corruption issues in supply chain relations in the South African procurement environment. The supply chain ethics and anti-corruption program (SCEAP) is aimed at suppliers of large companies in South Africa.
