This initiative spans Bolivia, Indonesia, Madagascar and Malawi, supporting government partners to identify and mitigate corruption risks in anti-illegal wildlife trade (IWT) and conservation efforts, while facilitating cross-country knowledge exchange.\n\nFara brings extensive experience to this role. Most recently, Fara served for over three years (2021–2025) as Environmental Project Manager at Transparency International – Initiative Madagascar. Her work focused on identifying and mitigating risks related to wildlife trafficking and natural resource management, including conducting corruption risk assessments in climate governance and facilitating capacity-building workshops for national and international stakeholders.\n\nShe also draws on her experience as Project Manager at Insuco Madagascar, where she oversaw the planning, technical implementation and monitoring of complex environmental and social projects.\n\nFara is a Research Associate and GI-ACE (Governance & Integrity Anti-Corruption Evidence) Fellow, conducting research hosted by the Centre for the Study of Corruption at the University of Sussex. Her research specifically addresses the imperative of tackling environmental corruption in Madagascar.
