He is part of the Green Corruption team, supporting monitoring, evaluation and learning across the programme.\n\nIn his role, Akbar leads monitoring and evaluation for the Basel Institute’s Norway-funded International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI) project, which works across Indonesia, Peru and global activities. He helps project partners track progress, verify results and use evidence to identify lessons, strengthen implementation and communicate achievements.\n\nAkbar is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning specialist with more than 15 years of experience in development planning, programme management and monitoring, evaluation and learning across governance, climate change, sustainable landscapes, education and community development.
